A new 14 month contract opportunity is currently available for an Organisational Change Manager to join our Queensland Government Client based in Brisbane CBD.

The Organisational Change Manager will be required to join a high profile Project to provide responsibility to ensure that the organisational change activities for benefits management, change strategy and transition, stakeholder management, communications and training are implemented effectively for maximum engagement at all levels.

Further to this, the Organisational Change Manager will be required to support the stakeholders through the business changes that will result in part due to the implementation of a new data sharing platform, redesigned business processes and new organisational capabilities.

Additional key responsibilities of the Organisational Change Manager will be as required below;

  • Development and implementation of a structured organisational change management strategy and plan, including Change Impact Assessment.
  • Development of Stakeholder Engagement and Communication plans and specific targeted activities to ensure active engagement of the stakeholder audience.
  • Identifying and developing strategies to manage communication dependencies across associated projects and programs.
  • Managing the implementation of communication and provide support to training and post deployment support strategies and tools.
  • Lead change readiness assessments. Evaluate results, present findings in a logical and easy to understand manner.
  • Scoping for OCM activities and resourcing as input into Preliminary Business Case and options development.

To be carefully considered for this opportunity, we are seeking to engage a candidate holding the following key experience, skills and personal attributes;

  • Demonstrated recent experience in the delivery of supportive change and transition strategies and activities to support the implementation of cross-agency programs of work involving delivery of ICT and transformation solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary, multi-agency resources
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, able to facilitate and promote effective interactions with clients, peers and stakeholders;
  • Highly developed written and communications skills;
  • High Level strategic knowledge, preferably with deep understanding of the organisation’s operational business or able to quickly learn how the work of the business lines contribute to business outcomes;
  • Strong negotiation skills to achieve agreed outcomes, be adaptable and flexible and able to deal without ambiguity;
  • Strong skills in pursuing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and clients to build professional networks;
  • Able to work independently, be accountable and take responsibility for own work; 
    proficiency in conducting research and data analysis, and able to translate and present technical and complex information appropriately;
  • Interpersonal skills of a high order, with emphasis on relationship management
