Their Wealth Technology and Superannuation Service is seeking a quality focused, Manager Engineer (Program Manager). The role will report into the Head of Technology, Superannuation-Retail and Corporate. The role will effectively lead the team that delivers operational support for the MasterKey Corporate and Retail Super platform and associated satellite applications. Responsibilities: This role will be key in coaching, mentoring employees on best practice approach to application development and operational support. Require significant cross-collaboration across the Technology division and will be a key influencer, with many new relationships that must be fostered and built upon. The role has accountability for all platform technical standards and ensuring that all teams working on associated platforms are aligned under the MasterKey platform and also fostering a collaborative environment within and across teams and business units in Technology. In addition to the above, the role is accountable for all research, design, configuration and implementation of features/releases. The role will also proactively manage business experience and expectations as well as having responsibility for system availability, integrity, operational risks and possible disruption and restoration plans. Main Activities Provide the strategic direction for platform tooling, Dev Ops and Agile principle across technology stack; Educate, guide and coach the Platform team and designated business representatives to understand strategic direction and ensure the underpinning technology/roadmap is in place to support these requirements Support change initiatives as required working closely with Project Managers/Directors, Engineering Managers (Program Managers) and Portfolio Leads to scope projects in accordance with strategic roadmaps and design standards; Keep the platform safe, managing incidents, problems and change Influencing internal and external stakeholders Identification of key risks on the Masterkey Super platform and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve/implement Develop and Maintain the platform technical roadmap covering infrastructure, major software versions or direction changes, platform uplift requirements Lead and motivate team members including role modelling, coaching/mentoring, direction, guidance and identification of training and development needs across operations and change teams on the platform or technology pillar Managing the platform capability (with the Head of Technology Service Owner); provide resources with appropriate skills, matching capability demand with supply of skilled resources Be a role model in terms of our Agile Mindset and champion the high-level adoption of agile practices within the team and across the Superannuation Service Key Skills Excellent social and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing Strong leadership skills Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts. Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business issues and needs and develop appropriate technical solutions. An appreciation of both IT and business strategy. Knowledge and experience in IT Application Re-engineering Strong customer service focus.
