The Strategy Analyst, is responsible for supporting the Principal Analyst and providing high level advice, and to maintain the operational effectiveness and excellence of the Investment, Strategy and Architecture Division.

Ensure a highly professional, performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer service culture within your team;

Exercise sound judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive and contentious issues and when representing;

Effectively manage competing priorities in a high volume environment;

To successfully manage relationships within the department and with customer services, and all partners/associations relevant to this role;

To successfully manage a range of stakeholder relationships within and external to the organisation

Ensure employees operate and engage in accordance with the values and the companies customer promises.

The IS&A Strategy functions goal is to orchestrate the stakeholder engagement to ensure strategic alignment to assist in delivering comprehensive, patient-focused, secure and private solutions that support specific deliveries within and beyond organisational boundaries. Appropriate strategic alignment in ICT across the landscape supporting the operationalization of the Strategy for 2016-26 will help improve the way patients receive care, enhance the clinical experience and make the system more sustainable. 
IS&A support strategic initiatives that leverages the significant progress local and regional health service providers have made over the past decade in localised solutions. Our goal today is to enable systems to talk to each other in order to get secure, accurate and comprehensive patient and relevant corporate information into the hands of health care providers as quickly as possible. We must leverage the best of metro and regional eHealth solutions and develop ways for them to seamlessly and securely share information.

The accountabilities outlined below indicate the scope of the position. The incumbent may be asked to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically stated in this description.

Develop, maintain and document the planned ICT strategies
Identify and analyse ICT organisational and sector strategic issues and options and align technology vision with business strategy to guide the development, implementation and governance of ICT strategies
Manage stakeholder relationships and provide robust and evidence based advice about strategic issues to implement reform.
Support Architecture team to align priorities with the strategic initiatives
Keep abreast of of new/emerging technologies and their potential application to existing service offerings
Coordinate and manage advice and responses to policies relating to strategic initiatives
Manage vendor engagement and procurement, project status reporting and management of vendor collaboration activities
