We have created a new position of dedicated Social Media and Marketing Executive to meet the Group’s objectives. Successful applicants will be working in our Sydney HO to fulfil the day to day running of this aspect of our business communications with our other dedicated support staff. Duties Include but are not limited to: Social Media Producing a media strategy and plan for each social media site; Sourcing current articles of interest and graphics to post daily (Monday to Friday) to suit the target audience on each of the Group sites, including adding appropriate commentary and responses to comments. Current sites include Linked In and Twitter; Ensuring each site is maintained with up to date profiles, graphics, etc; Monitoring and reporting of our success and followers against those of our peers; Generally keeping abreast of social media developments to ensure we are maximising our marketing and PR efforts across the Group to meet Group objectives. Your ideal background: University Degree in English/Journalism/Marketing/Public Relations preferable; Exceptional written communication skills displaying flair and creativity; Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation skills, good attention to detail; Excellent Social Media knowledge and literacy; Understanding of Recruitment/Professional Services/the IT industry beneficial; Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop Competence/proficiency in Search Engine Optimisation and Desk Top Publishing advantageous. Your Personal Profile: High energy levels and ability to drive and support management objectives effectively; Professional attitude Excellent coordination, written communication and inter-personal skills; Good attention to detail; Self-motivated and with strong desire to achieve Company and personal goals; Strong organisational and excellent time-management skills; Ability to respond positively under pressure; Flexibility as responsibilities may fluctuate based on Group needs; Keen personal interests/activities, ideally one participative of team sport.
