Melbourne CBD – 6 months + Managing the end-to-end delivery of large sized infrastructure projects/programs typically valued above $500k this is a Merger and Acquisition project so the focus will be to Project Manage the blending of the ICT Infrastructure together. The key focus is to find technical hands on project manager that work directly with their delivery teams. Added value placed on those with vendor-side experience, especially with acquisition projects. Responsibilities: Establishing and managing effective project operations to deliver time, cost and quality outcomes. Managing a team(s) or virtual team(s) of project employees operating on medium to large sized infrastructure projects, typically in a complex, multi-platform technical environment. Controlling project design and planning activities associated with medium to large sized infrastructure development projects. Defining, sourcing and managing necessary project resources. Controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan. Meeting stakeholder expectations through the application of stakeholder management disciplines. ESSENTIAL skills: At least 10 years of experience in Project Management Accreditation in PRINCE 2 Practitioner or equivalent Qualification in ITIL framework IDEALLY – Merger and Acquisitions experience from a ICT Infrastructure project management perspective Experience working on large complex infrastructure projects Experience delivering projects within ITIL environments Sound understanding and application of Project Management competencies Extensive experience in aspects of IT Infrastructure development and maintenance covering a wide range of technologies and platforms. Effective leadership, coordination, negotiation and dispute resolution skills. Ability to influence and build productive relationships with customers, providers and stakeholders.
