The Project Manager is a new position, responsible for the development and implementation of FACS requirements on a Salesforce platform for Release 2. Includes vendor management and running daily stand up meetings with Salesforce functional leads and offshore developers. Experience of Agile methodology and people management Responsibilities: Work to the overall objectives agreed with the ChildStory Program Manager.Manage projects and application releases through the application of agile principles and practices.Practices project/program/product delivery risk management.Drive application development in an agile environment, detailed duties to include: 1. Establish healthy, regular cadences for measuring and reporting vendor team performance toward release goals.2. Work with the ChildStory Leadership Team to build and maintain a healthy roadmap including strategic, architectural, and customer-driven features, ensuring teams are both building the right thing and building the thing right. 3. Organise and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, iterations/sprints and release planning, demos and other Scrum and Kanban-related practices and ceremonies.4. Extend the reach of the Practices team by coaching other part time individual contributors in the teams in applying and supporting Scrum or Kanban.5. Track and communicate team data like velocity, cycle time, throughput, and sprint/release progress (burndowns, burnups).6. Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.7. Manage Salesforce (vendor) day-to-day activities to the completion of configuration, customisation and development iterations/sprints.8. Manage interdependencies with other technologies being deployed as part of the ChildStory Program – in particular enterprise search and a range of interfaces.9. Manage project budgets and monitor application development by organising regular weekly meetings with Salesforce and other ChildStory Project Managers and Program Managers.10. Document business rules/logic for all software components.11. Work with the Transition Manager and FaCS Business stakeholders to ensure successful transition into business as usual operations and support. Key Deliverables Management of documentation and communication of the new ChildStory requirements and User Stories including wireframes.Vendor management – Salesforce.Work with release and project managers to establish end to end project plan and approachWeekly status reporting and participation in monthly Operational Management Meetings.Project Manager for ChildStory Release 2 including Enterprise Search.
