12 Month Contract

Our client, a global organisation is looking for a Process Support Co-ordinator to join them on a 12 month contract. This role primarily exists to provide support to the various IS teams in the area of IT support processes to ensure that IS services satisfy our customer’s requirements.

ROLE OBJECTIVES

  • Provide support to IS teams in the area of IT support processes
  • Liaise with users, IS teams and key BU stakeholders to ensure the IT support services meet the needs of the business and fulfil the support process requirements ?
  • Ensures policies, procedures and processes that support the IS department are in place and up to date
  • Ensures IT support services delivered from Service Providers perform as contracted
  • Identify innovative ways to improve IT support processes and/or drive down costs

ROLE DELIVERABLES

  • Manage Incident, Problem, Service Request and Knowledge Management support processes used to provide support to the client
  • Monitors and report on relevant help desk metrics and service levels
  • Manage day to day to operational performance & activities of the service provider (internal or external) to ensure the services meet the business’s requirements.
  • Monitor performance of service provider (internal and external) services associated with IT support processes
  • Assist in the development of a strategic direction for IT support processes to ensure they are aligned with the changing business objectives
  • Look for innovative ways to drive down costs and improve the service
  • Provide project support using IT support services
  • Assist in the development of a Service Improvement Framework
  • Develop and implement Service Improvement Plans for BANZ
  • Assist in the mitigation of identified critical IS risks
  • Lead, motivate, encourage and inspire the development of a strong, effective, efficient, ethical and professional IS team
  • Communicate and build relationships outside IS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive and demonstrated knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Over 5 years of IT support processes experience
  • Some project management experience
  • Experience in the development and documentation of support processes
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Able to travel between business sites in BANZ

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary and/or related qualification in relevant field of (Information Services or a Business related discipline)
  • Formal ITIL qualifications and knowledge of service support and delivery processes
  • Experience in the development of Service Improvement Programs
