Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Innovative Digital Sales Consultant to join their team based in North Sydney. You will be responsible for delivering digital insights to drive incremental online conversions and online user experience. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis that include actionable insights and optimisation recommendations for conversion funnels and optimisation activities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve analytics implementation, including taking ownership of the BAU and project related analytics and tag implementation backlogs, and prioritising the backlog in collaboration with the Digital Sales and Insights and Content teams.
  • Maintain oversight and documentation of the complete optimisation pipeline for the team, and involvement in ensuring experiments are correctly setup, with robust tracking and reporting dashboards in place.
  • Lead the development of new data sources, seeking to improve the quality of data, analysis and create efficiencies in process.
  • Create engaging and effective data visualisations which clearly and concisely delivery insight.
  • Develop tagging deployment strategies to support the measurement/tracking of key metrics, implement tags within tag management system and configure digital analytics platforms.
  • Communication of monthly digital sales performance to the broader wealth team, including presenting at weekly/monthly team meetings, emailing weekly/monthly results and insights to relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively and thoroughly analyse results to make connections between performance and contextual information to draw out insights, and communicate these effectively to the broader team.
  • In conjunction with Digital, Marketing and Tech teams, develop and deploy multivariate content testing strategies within Adobe Target, including forecasting benefit and post-test uplift reporting.
  • Lead the execution and development of regular digital reporting and insights to digital channels, marketing, sales, technology.
  • Contribute to digital analytics strategy, developing and communicating best practices for digital metrics and delivering initiatives that maximise performance.
  • Monitor other sources of digital intelligence to continually improve our understanding and ensure internal stakeholders are aware of wider digital developments.
  • Mentor and coach the Digital Sales and Insights team members on analytics and optimisation best practices.


Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in using digital analytics platforms – Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Experience in deploying tags through tag management systems such as Ensighten or similar. 
  • Experience in deploying multivariate tests via Adobe Target or similar technologies. 
  • Strong SQL experience would be an advantage. 
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisation skills.
  • Ability to analyse large amounts of data and provide business driven insights.
