A great 12 month plus contract opportunity within the Transport sector working on a large scale business Transformation program with a focus on people, process and organisational structure. 

This position lies in the Engineering and Maintenance division and the key objectives of the program are;
– Reviewing and adjusting the operating model and organisational structure to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time 
– Bolstering planning capability 
– Strengthening engineering and technological capability
– Establishing continuous improvement and strategic business planning 
– Maintenance and operational readiness for new timetables 

Your role will be to; plan, manage and deliver the day-to-day change activities across a range of initiatives (Work Packages) within the Program utilising a structured change management approach and methodology; ensure projects achieve the required speed of adoption, broad utilisation and end user proficiency by focussing on the people side of the change and business readiness; and align change initiatives with broader organisational people and change objectives.

The key skills and experience required for this position are;
Demonstrated experience in successfully deploying and managing transformational change programs for a large and complex customer facing organisation 
Demonstrated skills in development and application of change management artefacts in accordance with standard methodologies 
Hands-on professional who can work independently or with other change managers or SMEs as required to manage complex change implementation aspects including re-structuring, staff consultation, HR and IR issues 
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external groups at varying levels of business and technical knowledge overcoming resistance and managing conflict 
Strong ability to coach staff and managers in time of substantial change 
Demonstrated history of commitment to continuous learning and personal development within a change management context with Embedded motivation and personal drive 
Desirable 
Demonstrated experience in heavily unionised change implementations
